Carol Lee Newton Reynolds


Seaford, VA – Carol Lee Newton Reynolds, 72, passed away suddenly at home with loved ones at her side during her courageous battle with lung cancer on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
Carol was born in Newport News, VA and was a lifelong peninsula resident. She attended Warwick High School where she met her high school sweetheart, Steven Reynolds. They married March 17, 1973 and spent 42 years together. She was a believer in Christ.
Carol was a woman who found joy in life’s simple and beautiful moments. She loved the warmth of the sun on her face, days spent at the beach or pool, and tending to her garden. She especially loved being a mother to her only child Stacy, and a Nana to her 8 grandchildren.
She will be remembered for her spirit, her strength, the love she shared with those closest to her, and her sense of humor. Carol had a way of making people feel at home, and her presence brought comfort and light to her family and friends.
She is survived by her devoted partner, Palmer (Buddy) Eubank, Jr. of Grafton, VA; her loving daughter Stacy Waller and her husband John of Seaford, VA; her cherished grandchildren, Dylan, Samantha, Madison, Jacob, Charlotte, Daniel, Abigail, and Lillian. She is also survived by her sister Debbie Kincaid and husband Nick of Seaford, VA, her brother Chuck Newton and his wife Tina of Newport News, VA, and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steven R. Reynolds, her father Charles E. Newton, and mother Dorothy L. Newton.
Carol’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her warmth, kindness, and appreciation for life’s natural beauty will never be forgotten.
A service will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, April 24, 2026 at Seaford Baptist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service at 12:30pm. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 pm at Peninsula Memorial Park.
