Brenda Tinker Harkness

Yorktown, Va. – Brenda Tinker Harkness, 73, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025.
Brenda was a Virginia native and long time peninsula resident. She was the owner and operator of Landmark Residential Appraisals in Yorktown. She was a member and former President of the Rotary Club of Warwick at City Center and a former board member of Habitat for Humanity Peninsula and Greater Williamsburg. In her spare time Brenda enjoyed playing golf, gardening and traveling.
Brenda was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 45 years William G. Harkness II, a daughter Wendy Saunders, a brother Larry Tinker and his wife Sheila and 3 sisters, Glenda Staples, Yvonne Jack (Terry) and Cindy Joiner (Jimmy) grandchildren,
Elliott Hogge and his wife Kelsey, Rachel Saunders, Carley Saunders, Macey Saunders, and great grandchildren Brayden Hogge, Aurora Hogge, Cael Hogge and Drake Koch.
A memorial service will be held at Amory Funeral Home on Tuesday April 8, 2025 at 2:00pm
