Bonnie Maki Carlson
Our hearts are heavy as we bid farewell to Bonnie Maki Carlson, a cherished soul whose love for animals, unwavering devotion to family, and vibrant spirit defined her life.
She passed away peacefully on July 14, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Stambaugh, Michigan, to John (Uhro) Maki and Beatrice Jensen.
Bonnie was a devoted spouse to her husband of 62 years, Herbert, and a loving mother to their two children, Tiffanie and Greggory. Family was the cornerstone of Bonnie’s existence. Her fierce love knew no bounds, showering her loved ones with unwavering support, laughter, and warmth. As a devoted partner, parent, and friend, she nurtured deep connections that enriched the lives of all fortunate enough to know her. She is also survived by her sons-in-law, Jeff Sanford and Andrew Webber, as well as her cherished granddaughter, Madison Sanford.
A true social butterfly, Bonnie lit up every room she entered with her infectious laughter and boundless energy. Her zest for life was contagious, making her the heart of every gathering and the life of every party. Her ability to uplift spirits and create lasting memories will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to share in her joy.
Though she has departed from this world, Bonnie’s spirit lives on in the lives she touched and the memories she created. May we carry forward her legacy of love, compassion, and joy as we honor her remarkable life.
