Bobby L. Riffe

Yorktown Virginia- Bobby L Riffe, 84 passed away on Monday June 6, 2022. Mr. Riffe was born on 5 May, 1938 in West Virginia and a Peninsula resident since 1977. Bobby was an avid bowler and loved to watch golf with his grandkids. He was a loving father, grandfather and son. Bobby served proudly as a Master Sargent for the United States Air Force for 30 years. He traveled all over the world including Hong Kong, England and the Philippines. Bobby also worked for the United States Postal service for 15 years. Bobby is preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years Emily D. Riffe and parents, Clarence L. Riffe and Mollie Lockhart Riffe and his two brothers, Cullen Riffe and his wife and Jim Riffe and his wife.He is survived by his two sons, Wayne Allen Riffe and his wife Sherry and Wesley D. Riffe and his wife Darlene. Bobby has many grandchildren and great grandchildren; Wayne Allen Riffe II and his wife Ericka Riffe, Billy Smith, Justin Smith, Amanda Banks and her husband Carigan, Bryden Riffe, Raylee Riffe, Everleigh Riffe and Arabella Smith. A visitation service will be held at Amory Funeral Home on Monday, June 13, 2022, at 1p.m Interment will follow in the Veterans Memorial Gardens, Hampton. In lieu of flowers, Bobby was an animal lover and would like dog food donations made to Gloucester County Pound where he made donations.
