Beatrice Squires


It is with profound sadness and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Beatrice Squires. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Earl Hall, and her parents, Theadore Minter Squires and Margaret Hendrickson Squires.

Beatrice leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication, warmly remembered by her surviving siblings, Elliot Squires, David Squires, and Susan Squires Wampler.
 Beatrice was a caring and devoted aunt, treasured deeply by her nieces and nephews: Christina Midkiff, Angela Wampler, Samira Squires, Jessica Selvanathan, Jason Squires, Benjamin Squires, Theadore Wampler, Marcus Squires, and Michael Squires. Her generous spirit lives on through her grandnieces and grandnephews, Courtland Racey, Patrick Racey, Addilyn Cave, Loralei Wampler, Henry Squires, Saana Squires, Evey Squires, Gannon Squires, Erin Squires, Oliver Selvanathan, and Lyla Selvanathan.

An esteemed member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Beatrice exemplified commitment to community, fellowship, and service. She was a proud graduate of Kent State University and furthered her education with a Master’s in Business Administration in Virginia, demonstrating a lifelong passion for learning and personal growth.


Known for her adventurous and gentle spirit, Beatrice treasured her time as a part-time resident of Limington, Maine, where she found peace and joy surrounded by nature’s beauty. Her kindness, intelligence, and grace left an indelible mark on all who knew her, and her memory will continue to inspire family, friends, and the broader community.
 We celebrate the remarkable life of Beatrice Squires, honoring the warmth, wisdom, and compassion she generously shared with everyone fortunate enough to know her.


A graveside service will be held 3:00 PM on Monday April 21, 2025 in Peninsula Memorial Park, Newport News, VA. Arrangements by Amory Funeral Home, Grafton, VA.
