Austin Chandler Birkicht
Austin was born on August 5 1997 and he passed away suddenly on October 11 2025.
Austin was born in Newport News VA he lived and attended school in York County VA graduating from Grafton High School in 2015. Austin played youth football for the Tidewater Wolves and the Grafton Tabb Tigers. He was also a member of the Yorktown Fife and Drum Corp starting at 10 years old until he turned 18, he played the Bass Drum and Snare Drum. Austin lived in Fort McMurray Alberta Canada for a few years. Austin loved to cook, he was a big sports fan. His college team is the Texas Longhorns, his pro team is the Dallas Cowboys, he liked the Edmonton Oilers and the Calgary Stampeders. Austin was an animal lover; he had several doggies that he cherished. Austin will be forever in our hearts. He is survived by his Mother Connie C. Birkicht of Yorktown, his Father Timothy D. Birkicht and his wife Jintana of Fort McMurray Alberta Canada. His Grandmother Ida Yates of Yorktown, Numerous Aunts, Uncles,Cousins located in Virginia and Oklahoma. There was a Celebration of life held for Austin at his grandmother’s home on October 18 2025, He would have been very proud of what his friends put together for him. There has been a Go-Fund me set up to help with medical bills and final expenses.
May Austin Rest in Peace he will never be forgotten.
