Audrey Johnston

Yorktown, Va. – Audrey Johnston sadly passed away on Wednesday October 4, 2023 at the age of 81.
She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. A 51-year resident of Yorktown, she was well-respected and loved by neighbors and their children. She was a retired postal worker and gave generously to local charities, and she was a very talented woman was an artist who restored antique furniture.
She is predeceased by her husband James L. Johnston USAF Ret. Master Sergeant, son David E. Johnston, mother & father Catherine Harris and Dennis W. Harris, and sisters Ann Bolton and Daisey Quick. She is survived by her son Walter Johnston (and wife Eban), grandson Jayden Johnston, and brother Dennis Harris Jr. A visitation service will take place at Amory Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 11th from 6:30-7:30 P.M. A graveside service will take place at Sunset Cemetery in Littleton, North Carolina at 1:30 on Saturday, October 14th.
