Arnold R. Robinson

Yorktown, Virginia – Arnold R. Robinson, 86, passed away on Thursday May 2, 2024. Arnold was born in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina and has been a peninsula resident since 1944. He graduated from Warwick High School in 1955 and retired from IBEW Local 1340 in August of 1999 after 47 years. He was an avid lover and collector of model trains as well as boating, fishing and Honda Goldwing motorcycles.
Arnold is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Mary F. Robinson and his son, A. Russell Robinson and his wife Heather, his daughter Lesa Robinson, his brother Harry Robinson and his wife June, two sisters, Janice Colbert and Virginia Conway. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Samantha Mills, Graham Davis, Victoria Davis and Abigail Newbill and 2 great grandchildren, Samantha Davis and Camden Newbill. He was preceded in death by his parents Louise Byrd Robinson and Harry Battle Robinson, brother Keith Robinson and sisters, Anne Davis, Jean Bell and Edith Shelton as well as his son-in-law Douglas Newbill.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 2:00 pm in Crooks Memorial United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkinsons Foundation,
