Allison Sauls Churchill

Allison Sauls Churchill, 69, Yorktown VA, passed away on August 10, 2026.
She was born in Rome Georgia to Heyward and Virginia Sauls on December 18, 1956. She grew up in Daytona Beach Florida and graduated from Seabreeze High School class of 1974 and Florida State University in 1978. She traveled the world as an Air Force wife and taught elementary schools for 35 years in Florida, Oklahoma, Germany and the last 24 years at three different Newport News Elementary Schools where she was awarded Teacher of the Year twice.

Allison is survived by her husband Ray Churchill who were married in Tallahassee FL on December 5, 1981. She also leaves behind three children and seven grand-children: son Lee Churchill and wife Kristen; daughter Lindsey Churchill MacQuilliam and her husband Wesley and daughter Lauren Churchill and her partner Bennett Felts. Her grand-children Jackson Haas, Connor MacQuilliam, Grant MacQuilliam, Cooper MacQuilliam, Henry MacQuilliam, Hudson Felts and Lucy Churchill.

Funeral services will be private at a later date.
