Alan Bruce Clark, Sr.

Seaford, Va. – Alan Bruce Clark, Sr., 83, beloved father and grandfather, passed peacefully on Monday, January 9, 2023. Bruce was a native of Waynesville, North Carolina and was a Navy veteran. A Seaford resident since 1978, Bruce retired from NASA as Electrical Engineer in 2003 with 30 years of government service. Enjoyed fishing, camping, sailing, collecting, music, and many forms of art to include woodworking, painting, sketching and pottery.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years Elizabeth “Betsy” Clark and brother Lawrence “Scot” C. Clark, Jr. Bruce is survived by his sons, Alan B. Clark, Jr. (Jodi) and Tony Clark (Ann) 8 grandchildren Jordan (Tony), Ashlen (Michael), Leigh-Ann (Michael), Amber, Brian, Casie (Paul), Austin, Brooke-Lynn and 2 great grandchildren Joanna, Asher.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 12 from 6 to 7 PM in Amory Funeral Home. A graveside service with Military honors will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 13, at Peninsula Memorial Park.
