Sharon “Dutch” Millen
January 5, 1948 – May 8, 2026
Dutch Millen passed away peacefully on May 8, 2026 surrounded by her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Thomas Primm and Anna Ruth Primm.
Dutch is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Dallas E. Millen; her daughters, Anna Harwood and husband Scott, and Shelly Johnson and husband Tyler; her granddaughters, Tori Miezan and husband Willy, Karly Harwood, Hunter Paige Johnson, and Chandler Johnson; and her sister, Sandy Thompson, twin sister Karen “Butch” Primm, and brother Tommy Primm. She also leaves behind her beloved dogs, Buddy and Bootsie, whom she loved dearly.
Dutch was a true lady—an incredible and devoted wife, sister, mother, Grammy, Mimi, and friend. Family was everything to her. She loved deeply, cheered loudly, and made everyone around her feel special. She loved going to her granddaughters’ field hockey games.
Dutch loved dancing, shopping, family vacations, trips to the beach, and spending time playing cards with her sisters, friends, and family. She especially loved taking trips with her husband to their river house, where many special memories were made together.
Dutch’s warmth, kindness, laughter, and unwavering love for her family and friends will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew and loved her.
Celebration of Life will be Saturday, May 16, 2026 at 11:00 am at Amory’s Funeral Home 410 Grafton Drive, Grafton Va 23692. Reception to follow at The Fleet.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Gloucester/Mathews Humane Society.
