Lori Gene Reed

Lori Gene Reed, of Yorktown, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, joining her beloved children.

She will be remembered for her strength, caring nature, and wonderful sense of humor. Lori had a deep love for animals, the beach, and music, which brought her great joy throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her children, Stewart Picardat and Melissa Picardat; her husband, Stewart Greenway Picardat; her parents, Eugene S. Reed and Dorothy M. Reed; and her brother, Stephen Reed.

She is survived by her brother Michael Reed, her sister Kim Reed; her cousin, Lisa Zieman; her niece, Jennifer Gallaccio; her nephews, Troy Jacquin, Mikey Reed, and Logan Reed; and her great-niece, Taylor Patton, along with her sons, Greyson and Kash Jordan.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the home of Lisa Zieman at 9065 Pirates Pt Hayes Virginia at 2:00pm.
