

Stephanie Waynick

Stephanie Waynick passed away on April 16, 2026 after a brief illness.
Stephanie was happily married to her husband Ron for 52 years. She was within 2 months of achieving a 29 year milestone surviving with a transplanted liver from MCV. Stephanie was an avid horse rider and equestrian teacher. She was a prominent English style hunter jumper instructor on the Peninsula. She is survived by her husband Ron, son Patrick (Elizabeth), granddaughters Geneva and Eadoian Waynick, mother Grace Bryant, brother Wesley (Sandy) Bryant, sisters Susan (Tu) Ritter, Jill (Noah) Lemos, and April (Paul) Bryant. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters in-law and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father William Junius Bryant and in-laws. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the MCV Foundation in support of Hume-Lee Transplant Center, noting on the check’s memo line that the gift is in memory of Stephanie Waynick, and mailed to VCU Gifts & Records, Box 843042, Richmond, VA 23284-3042.
