

Paul William Reeves


Newport News, Va. – Paul William Reeves, 91, passed away on Tuesday Mach 31, 2026.
Paul was a native of Kansas and a peninsula resident since 1963. He retired from the United Staes Army in 1975 after 21 years of Honorable and Dedicated service. During the Vietnam War and throughout his Military career he received many decorations and awards such as the bronze Star, the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm, Presidential Citation, Presidential Unit Citation, Air Medal, Air Medal with V, Meritorious Service Medal and Master Crew Member Wings. Services Ribbons included UN Medal, Experts Badge, Korean Service, Overseas Service, National Defense, Armed Forces Expeditionary Lebanon 58, Vietnam Service 2 Loops Silver, Army Service and Good Conduct 2 Loops Silver. Disabled American Veterans Bronze Leader, Sikorsky Winged S. Award, The Order of St Michael and was a member of the Golden Hawks during Vietnam Combat Operations. After retirement from the Army, Paul went to work at Fort Eustis until he retired again in 2000. In his spare time Paul enjoyed wood working, cabinet making, furniture repair and upholstery.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Marsha Reeves, and son William E. Reeves.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 on Saturday, April 18, 2026 in Amory Funeral Home Chapel with military honors. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Paul W. Reeves.
