Carl “Andy” Andrew Woodruff

Williamsburg, Va. – Carl “Andy” Andrew Woodruff, 59, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026.
Andy was a native and lifelong peninsula resident. He graduated from Ferguson High School in 1984 and attended Thomas Nelson Community College and graduated from Christoper Newport College. He went to PGA School and worked for Ford’s Colony, Williamsburg National and last with the Hamptons Golf Club. Andy enjoyed golfing, boating, fishing and caring and helping his dear mother.
He was preceded in death by his father Carl E. Woodruff a brother Kenneth E. Woodruff and step father Harold J. Dorton. He is survived by his loving mother Susie Dortonand his uncle James McDavid.
Service will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 10:00 AM in Christ United Methodist Church, Newport News. Interment will follow in Peninsula Memorial Park. A celebration of life will follow the graveside at Christ United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to Christ United Methodist Church 133 Deep Creek Road, Newport News, Va 23606.
