Frances Boze Hauser

Frances Boze Hauser, of Dinwiddie, went home to be with her Lord and savior on February 5, 2026 at the age of 78.
She was a devoted wife, loving mother, Gram, Great-Gram, and friend whose memory will always be cherished. She was born on March 31, 1947, to the late Wilbur Clyde Boze, Sr. and Annie Lewis Boze of Ford, VA. Frances will be remembered for her strong faith, generosity, and strength. She dedicated her life to her family, always offering loving kindness, a warm embrace and a listening ear. She loved reading and listening to the Bible, and spending time with family and friends. She especially loved cooking for her family. Her favorite holiday was Thanksgiving, when she could gather everyone together for a meal prepared with all their favorite foods and her most famous recipes. Her life was a living example of Ephesians 4:32 – “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.” Frances was preceded in death by her parents Wilbur and Annie Boze; her husband Robert C. Hauser; brothers Floyd A. Boze and Coleman R. Boze; and granddaughter Jessica L. Ashworth. She is lovingly survived by her daughters and their families: Linda G. Ashworth; Pamela G. Comer (Robert); Jennifer L. Joyner (D’shawn); grandchildren Marie, Michael, Candace, Audrey, Matthew, Aliyah, Alex, Ethan, William, Cristian, and Warren; many great-grandchildren, and brother Wilbur Clyde Boze Jr. (Kathy). Very special thanks go out to her chosen family and caretakers April King and Frances Brown. Thank you for loving her and helping us keep her for as long as we could. Please join us in celebrating her life Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Central Baptist Church, 6405 Courthouse Road, Church Road, VA 23833. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to 4 Paws Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 1624, Hayes, VA 23072 or www.4pawz.org.
