Roy Edward Robinson

Roy Edward Robinson, age 81, of Hampton, VA passed away suddenly on December 20, 2025.
Born on December 19, 1944 in Mecklenburg County Virginia.
Roy graduated from Hampton Sidney in 1968. He spoke German and French, traveled internationally and was an avid reader. He spent time in the teaching field and eventually settled into a career that brought him the most enjoyment at The Sea Vacationer Virginia Beach VA and spent the later part of his career working for Tidewater AAA.
Roy is preceded in death by his mother Mildred R. Roberts and his brother Gene A. Robinson of South Hill VA.
He is survived by his devoted cousin Chester (C.L.) Tanner (Brenda) of York Town, VA, whose care, and compassion for Roy will never be forgotten. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Freda M. Robinson, niece Donna R. Edmonds (Terry), nephew Glenn A. Robinson (Teresa), all of South Hill VA, his great niece Christy E. Calloway (Colt) of Tennessee, great nephew Allen J. Robinson (Holly) of South Hill, VA. He also had a great-great nephew Cooper and a great-great niece Tenley and other extended family. Service will be private.
