Donna Lee Driscoll

Donna Driscoll
March 18, 1953 – October 31, 2025
Donna Lee Driscoll, age 72, of Yorktown, Virginia, passed away peacefully at her home on October 31, 2025.
Born in Roanoke, Virginia, Donna’s faith in God was the foundation of everything she did in her life. She loved deeply, prayed often and always found a way in her heart to forgive others. Her gentle and loving spirit for others was a huge reflection of the way she lived her life.
Being surrounded by family was Donna’s greatest joy in life. She shared 53 years of marriage with her devoted and loving husband, Roger. She consistently spoke of the deep appreciation and admiration she had for him throughout their life together. She loved him with all her heart and sometimes expressed feeling undeserving of the love and devotion that Roger gave her during their marriage. Donna expressed being proud of her two surviving sons, Gregg (wife: Caitlin) and Matthew (wife: Lilli). Although her oldest son is no longer here on earth, the deep love she had in her heart for Cliff continued throughout her life. Donna often spoke with happiness knowing that her sons, Gregg and Matthew, now have big, loving families of their own. She expressed peace knowing this, before her time on earth came to an end and carried this proudly in her heart. Her two grandchildren, Theodore and Oliver, brought her endless joy, laughter and light. Her beloved dog, Lucy, was always faithfully by her side.
Donna is also survived by her younger brother, Paul, and older sister, Dianne. She loved them dearly and was thankful for all the time she was able to spend with them in her hometown, Roanoke, VA. She is reunited in heaven with her parents, Horace and Merita, her sister, Debbie, and her oldest son, Cliff.
Donna always enjoyed spending time with others; sharing stories, laughter, and love. She had a knack for finding the best deals on QVC and Amazon and took great joy in giving thoughtful gifts to others, always delighting in the happiness on their faces as they opened them.
Though Donna is no longer with us in body, her spirit lives on in the love, faith, and kindness she shared with all who knew her. Guided by her unwavering trust in God, she leaves a legacy of prayer, compassion, and devotion that will continue to inspire her family and friends for generations.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Donna’s life on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Amory Funeral Home, 410 Grafton Dr., Yorktown, VA 23692. Her family welcomes all who loved her to come share memories and honor the beautiful life she lived.
