Lee Shane Gary

Hampton, Va. – Lee Shane Gary, 56, passed away on Sunday October 5, 2025.
Lee was a native of Nashville Tennessee but lived all his life on the peninsula. He graduated from Hampton High School in 1987 and graduated from the Newport News Apprentice School. He worked alongside his father Forrest at G and G Auto Sales and later he owned and operated Peninsula Home Improvements.

He is survived by his wife 38 years Donna Gary daughters, Madelyn Drew (Christopher), Stephany Plantz Gary and Donna Elizabeth Lawrence and grandchildren, Emma Faith Drew and River Ray Plantz He was preceded in death by his parents Forrest and Peggy Gray and a grandchild Evelyn Edwards.
Service will be Saturday October 11, 2025 at 11:00 AM in Amory Funeral Home Chapel
