Betty Britt Lane

Yorktown, Va. – Betty Britt Lane, 87, passed away on Tuesday September 30, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband Jarrell C. “JC” Lane, a son Christopher “Chris” Baker parents Ray Britt and May Belle Britt Hancock and sister Patricia Carrington and brother Ray Britt, Jr. Betty retired from NASA after 30 years. A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 11, 2025 at 2:00 PM in Amory Funeral Home, Grafton, Va.
