Nancy Anne Hudgins Bartnikowski

Linda Anne Hudgins Bartnikowski was born in Newport News, Va. to Wilton Lee Hudgins, Sr. and Shirley Anne Hudgins on February. 24, 1955.
Linda peacefully passed away at home in Newport News on August 16, 2025, after a short battle with cancer. Although her family is heartbroken, we all know she is in the arms of our heavenly father and has reunited with those who left us before her. We will all love and miss “Sissy” until the day we reunite with her. Everyone who met her knows she was a sweet soul who touched many lives during her life and career at Noland Company, Newport News Shipbuilding and Branscome. Linda was preceded in death by her mother and father, brothers, Casey, Robert, David and Keith Hudgins. She is survived by her husband Mike Bartnikowski, Aunt, Jane Kirby, stepdaughter, Madison Anderson (Hunter), mother-in-law Elaine Bartnikowski, brother-in-law Alan Bartnikowski (Patti), brothers, Wilton Lee Hudgins, Jr., Dale Hudgins (Lynda), and sister, Brenda Hudson (Kenny), brother-in-law, Alan Robinson along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, September 26, 2025 in Amory Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service.
