

Grace Wiley Holland

Yorktown, Va. – Grace Wiley Holland was joyfully reunited with her husband of 63 years, Dale, in Heaven on August 13, 2025, along with her three brothers, Charlie, Robert, and Ray.
Born on February 16, 1939, to Jasper and Helen Wiley, Grace was affectionately known as Nana by most. She dedicated her life to loving her family, experimenting with new recipes, enjoying books, and playing games with friends— often emerging victorious. Grace committed over 40 years to her career, holding various positions such as cashier, meat department clerk, and deli/bakery manager.
She is survived by her children: Glenn Holland (Mary), Wanda Chamberlain (Scott), J.D. Holland (Jennifer), Joni Kahler (Tim). Additionally, she leaves behind 14 grandchildren: Joshua Fox (Kristen), Amanda Tate (Ira), Matthew Fox (Julianna), Ryan Chamberlain (Katie), Kyle Chamberlain, Lauryn Chamberlain, Brandon Holland, Melyssa Briggs (Brandon), Bryant Holland (Nick), Brittany Allen (Alex), Caitlyn Tait, Courtney Kahler, Laura Ivey (Brent), Emily Foltz (Bailey). She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren: Hayden, Kylie, Madilyn, Dylan, Makenna, Nathan, Brody, Lennon, Emma, Kaydence, Haley, Joey, Caleb, Hynleigh, Daniel, Christopher and Delilah. And one great-great grandchild, Lily. Grace is also survived by her three sisters-in-law: Shirley Wiley, Marielle Wiley, and Lynne Holland, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many long-time family friends.
A visitation will be held at Amory’s Funeral Home in Yorktown, on Monday August 18, 2025 from 6–8 PM, followed by the funeral on Tuesday August 19, 2025, at 12:00 PM at St. Luke’s Methodist Church in Yorktown followed by burial service at Parklawn Memorial Cemetery in Hampton. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the nurses and doctors at Riverside Hospital for the exceptional care and comfort provided, as well as to Maggie and Tina, who were wonderful, loving caretakers and friends to Grace
