Diane Keeter Davis Hill

Diane Keeter Davis Hill, 80, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024, after a long battle with leukemia.
Diane is survived by her son Christopher R. Pittman (Jodie); daughter-in-law Sandy Pittman; niece Tiffany Helm (Cresson); great-nephew Ian McRae; brother Frank Davis; daughters Michelle Hinkle (James) and Stephanie Hart; grandchildren, A.J., Parker, Amanda, Ramsie, Mariah, Brandon (Brianna), Landon (Tiffany), Dalton, Dylan, and great grandson Maverick. Diane was preceded in death by her husband Mack E. Hill; parents Robert H. Davis and Louise R. Davis; sister Mellie English; son George M. Pittman Il.
Born and raised in Newport News, Diane attended Newport News High School and worked in the insurance industry for years specializing in commercial claims management. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church and a member of the Junior Women’s Club of Hilton. Diane enjoyed playing French horn, while singing in the church choir. She was also a member of the Public Times Chorus and sang in Sweet Adelines International for 26 years. She enjoyed being active in the Smithfield Women’s Club for 19 years, sat on the board of a classical music program and loved and cherished the beautiful ladies of the Gatlin’s Point girlfriend’s group.
Diane wanted to express how much she appreciated the love and well wishes sent to her through cards, emails and text messages. Your love supported her through her cancer journey and the loss of her precious son Artie. She also wanted to thank the nurses and staff at the Mennowood Retirement Community for their love and care. The family will receive friends on Thursday December 19th from 6pm-8pm at Amory Funeral Home in Yorktown, VA.
