Barbara Faye Hudgins

Barbara Faye Hudgins, age 71, of Yorktown, VA, passed away on September 10th. She was born on December 30th, 1952 to Floyd Hudgins and Barbara Sampson.
Barbara Faye was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was known for her generosity, humor, and being the best Mamaw and Mini to her grandchildren. She loved the sun, the sand, a good book, and shopping the clearance rack.
She is survived by her daughters Ashley Walters and Pamela Matheny, her son-in-law Micah, her stepdaughter Angela Molin, grandchildren Brooke and Morgan Hudnall, and Corban and Cora Matheny, and sister Kim Denny. She is preceded in death by her parents Floyd Hudgins and Barbara Sampson, her grandson Wesley Walters, and brother Tommy Hudgins, along with many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, September 21st., from 2-4pm at Amory’s funeral home in Yorktown. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you join us to share memories or pictures of Barbara Faye throughout the years.
Barbara Faye will be deeply missed and forever cherished in the hearts of all who knew her.
