Myra Anne Booze

Yorktown, Va. Myra Anne Booze, 83, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, August 13, 2024.
She was a native of Manning, South Carolina and a Yorktown resident for over 40 years. She retired from Langley Air Force Base in 2007 after 31 years of civil service.
She is survived by her husband John Wayne Booze, Sr. and children, John Wayne Booze, Jr. (Veronica), Bonnie Sue Blessing (Scott), Johnna Lynne Morris (Tommy), 8 grandchildren, Daniel, William, Brennan, Scott Michael, Becky, Samuel, Tommy and Shelly and 12 great grandchildren, Jordan, Charlotte, Sarah, Sierra, Summer, Landon, Kenny, Reed, Hampton, Payton, Elery and Nash. Myra Anne was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Myra Linkenauger, step father Joseph Petty and a brother Frank Quinn Linkenauger.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024 at 1:00pm in St. Mark Lutheran Church, Yorktown, Va. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
