Terri Sue Kirkland

Terri Sue Kirkland was born October 18, 1959 in Stanley NC. She moved to Newport News, VA at the age of sixteen years old. She entered into eternal rest on April 1, 2024 in her home surrounded by her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred Kirkland and Susie Johnson, son Scott Kirkland , and brother Samuel “Bo” Kirkland.
She is survived by her sons Samuel “Sammy” Kirkland (Angie), Jordan Dufrene, grandchildren Xavier, Savanah and Dominic, siblings Fred Kirkland, Charles “Chuck” Johnson, Terry Johnson, Deborah “Debbie” Johnson, Lillian “Lily” Miles and a host of nieces and nephews.
Terrisue was a beautiful soul who was loved by all she encountered. She was kindness personified. She had a unique ability to make anyone feel like everything was going to be okay. She will truly be missed.
