Alice Ruth Aikens

Alice Ruth Aikens, 83, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. Alice was a native of Cullowhee, North Carolina and a Yorktown resident since 1958. She retired from Siemens in 2001 after 30 years of service. Alice was a active member of Maranatha Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time going to garage sales.
She was preceded in death by her husband Forrest L. Aikens and six brothers, Earl, Herman, RV, Odell, Ed and Ernest and 4 sisters, Kate, Florence, Anna, Ollie and Lavern and survived by two sons, Ronnie Aiken and Timothy Aikens and his wife Diane grandchildren, Christopher, Kristi, Wendy and Jenny and 3 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 to 7:00 pm in Amory Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday December 12, 2023 in Maranatha Baptist Church and burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park.
