Katherine Elaine Gilbert

Katherine Elaine (Pitluga) Gilbert, 56 passed on unexpectedly on July 2, 2023.
While her family and friends are overwhelmed with grief by her death, they are thankful for her life. Katie is the youngest of four sisters that grew up in the Hampton Roads Area. She was a quite soul who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. She loved her children more than able to express and watching her grandchildren growing into incredible young adults. Katie adored sitting on her couch hanging out with her dog “Loki”, her sister time, and any time spent with family and friends. She also loved butterflies, the sun, decorating her home and yard, as well as anything that is the color pink.
Katie is survived by her daughter Amber Davidson, her son Justin Davidson, her grandchildren, Aiden Davidson, Amanjay Herbin, Harmonie Davidson, her sister Virginia and husband Rick Garvin, sister Roberta Sue and husband David Peterman and sister Christine Murphy, as well as lots of extended family.
Services to be held on July 11, 2023 at 2 pm at Amory Funeral Home located at 410 Grafton Drive, Yorktown VA 23692. Family will receive family and friends immediately following the services at Bobbie Sue’s home located at 11 Gayle Street, Hampton, Va. 23669.
