Alice Gray Scott Thornton

Newport News, Va. – Alice Gray Scott Thornton, 98, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023.
She was a lifelong of Surry resident until she moved to Newport News at the age of 76. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold L. Thornton, Sr. and a daughter Kelly Thornton Bond. She is survived by her brother Floyd B. Scott, her son Harold L. Thornton, Jr., and her daughter Linda Smith. (Partner Donald Alker) Services will be private.
