Gareth Antony James Coveney

Gareth Antony James Coveney sadly passed away on March 25th, 2022 aged 24 years. The cause of death is currently unknown. Gareth was born October 10th, 1997 in Cambridgeshire, England. He moved to Newport News VA in October of 2002 with his military family. Gareth was special needs, diagnosed with severe autism and was schooled at the Center for Autism in Kiln Creek Elementary, Yorktown Middle, Woodside High School and most recently graduated from the Grafton School in Midlothian VA in 2020. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Karen and Robert Drenning, his brother Jason, his stepbrother Daniel, Godfather and uncle Antony Abbs, aunt Katie Hope and maternal grandparents Dennis and Vivianne Abbs of Wisbech, England. He also leaves behind many cousins and extended family both in the US and UK.
Contributions in memory of Gareth are to be made to Cole’s Horse Autism Therapy Station. A non-profit organization located in Yorktown, Virginia. https://www.chats757.com
