Peggy Gibson Buchanan

Yorktown, Va., – Peggy was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother that went to meet her heavenly Father on May 12 2021. Peggy was born Jan 12, 1940. She was a member of Northside Church in York County. She was a graduate of Averette College and James Madison University. Peggy retired from York County School System after over 40yrs of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Buchanan and her parents Joe and Doris Gibson.
Peggy is survived by her son John Buchanan and grandson William Buchanan.
The service will be at Northside Church Saturday May 22 at 10am. Followed by a reception at Northside. Private interment will follow in Peninsula Memorial Park Arrangement by Amory Funeral Home, Grafton, Va.
