Steven Bradley Green

Yorktown, Va – Steven Bradley Green, 66, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2026.
Steven was a native and lifelong York County resident. He graduated from Tabb High School in 1980 and worked for Fort Eustis and then Norfolk Naval Yard for 34 Years retiring in 2014.
He was an avid Washington Redskins now known as the Washington Commanders football team and he loved his NASCAR and his favorite driver was Richard Petty. He helped Diane Teel when she was racing and also Lenny Harris over in Saluda and that’s where Tina met Steven.

He was preceded in death by his parents Betty Ann Jones Green and John Franklin (Peter) Green, Sr. and a brother John Franklin “Frankie” Green and former companions Sparky and Buster. Stevie is survived by his wife of 38 years Tina Jones Green a daughter Amber Cantwell and her husband Brandon and a son Benjamin Green and his wife Arianna and grandchildren Tulsi and Reagan and his beloved companion “Blue”

A service will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2026 at 3:00 PM in Providence United Methodist Church. The viewing will begin at 2:00 PM. A reception to honor Steven will follow in the church social hall.
