Kenneth Clark White

Kenneth Clark White, 78, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017. Clark was a native of Canton, Illinois and a former resident of California before to the peninsula in 1995. He retired from NASA as aeronautics engineer in 1995 after 30 years of service. Clark is the former vice president of the Cape Henry Audubon Society ad is involved with two other bird watching groups for which he organizes field trips. Once a month, he guides groups of bird watchers through Hoffler Creek and travels all over the country, and occasionally, to other countries for bird watching excursion and is an avid golfer in his free time. He is survived by his children Margo Clark (Broderick) and Kenneth D. White (Kathy) and his wife of Marilyn Busch White and her children, also survived by his sister, Diann Bayer and a brother Wayne White (Martha) and his grandchildren, Spencer Steeves and Taylour Steeves.
A Celebration of Life service for this Saturday May 6, 2017, from 1-3 at Hoffler Creek Wildlife Preserve 4510 Twin pines Road Portsmouth 23703 There will be a Birdwalk.
Memorials may be made to St. Mark Lutheran Church Missions, 118 Old York-Hampton Hwy, Yorktown, VA 23692. Arrangements are by Amory Funeral Home, Grafton, VA.
