Dr. Romeo Cruz Fermin

Dr. Romeo Cruz Fermin 84, passed away on Tuesday October 3, 2017. He was born in Orani Bataan, Philippines and was a retired Lt Col with United States Air Force and retired as a Neonatologist-Pediatrician.
He was educated and graduated Medical School; University of the East , 1965 and Licensed State Board of Medicine; Manila, Philippines 1965 and Licensed Board of Registration in Medicine from The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, in 1987, Licensed Board of Physician Quality Assurance of the State of Maryland, in1994, Licensed State Board of Medicine, The Commonwealth of Virginia , in 1997. He received his medical training as Resident of Pediatrics – 01 July 1973 thru 30 June 1975, Saint Elizabeth Hospital of Boston, Neonatal Medicine, Saint Margaret’s Hospital for Women, Boston, Massachusetts and Fellow in Neonatology, Boston Floating Hospital.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 9, 2017 in St. Jerome Catholic Church. Interment with Military Honors will be held 10:00 AM on Tuesday October 10, 2017 in Albert G. Horton Jr. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Suffolk, VA. The family will receive friends on Sunday October 8, 2017 from 6-8 PM in Amory Funeral Home.
