Chester W Piekielniak
Chester W. Piekielniak, 68, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2017. Chester was born in Michigan City, Indiana and a peninsula resident since 1962. He attended Denbigh High School and graduated from Ludwigsburg American High School in Stuttgart, Germany. He served in the U S Army and retired from the Naval Weapon Station. He was past Commander of the DAV Chapter 2 and was a member of the Middle Peninsula Jeep Club. He was an avid pool player with American Pool Association, and was an excellent cook.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 18 years, Doreatha Piekielniak. He is survived by two sisters, Vicky and Celia; two stepsons, Ricky and Phil; five grandchildren; two nephews and eight nieces.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 20, 2017, in the chapel of Amory Funeral Home, Grafton. Interment will be private in Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk.
