B. Marilyn Walter-White

Bonnie Marilyn Walter-White, 85, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2017. Marilyn was a native of Oregon and graduated from Oregon State University. She was a former resident of Springfield, Virginia and Yorktown before moving to Williamsburg in 2013. Her career as a Microbiologist spanned many hospitals and labs throughout the country. She enjoyed golfing, traveling and volunteering in her community, but her biggest passion was her faith. Whether directing the choir or practicing Lay Ministry, she was committed to a life of service in the church. She was a long-time member of St Mark Lutheran Church, Yorktown.
She is survived by her children: Peter Eshleman (Linda) of the Bahamas, Mary Ann Navarre (Mike) of Atlanta and Scott Eshleman (Michele) of Chantilly; 6 grandchildren: Nicole, Peter Jr., Alyssa, Kendra (Alex), Ryan and Tanner; and many extended family members.
A Memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at St Mark Lutheran Church by Rev. Joel S. Neubauer. A reception will follow the service in the church.
